Matthew Nuñez has a broad-based litigation practice with a significant portion of his practice involving white-collar criminal defense and the defense of consumer class actions brought under various state and federal consumer protection laws. He has substantive experience managing all aspects of a litigation including conducting large-scale discovery investigations, motion practice, and taking and defending depositions.

Matthew represents numerous high-profile cases, defending clients in criminal courts against allegations of fraud, embezzlement, and other financial crimes. His experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes and conducting thorough investigations has proven invaluable to clients facing significant legal challenges.

He is very active defending consumer-facing businesses in a variety of claims involving false advertising, unfair trade practice, and other consumer protection issues. He has a track record of helping clients achieve favorable outcomes and mitigate potential liabilities in the class action space.

Matthew gained valuable experiences as a legal intern for the Queens County District Attorney’s Office in the Violent Criminal Enterprise Bureau and as a trial preparation assistant in the Kew Gardens II Supreme Court Trials Bureau.
