Andres Barajas focuses his practice on representing official and ad hoc committees, as well as individual creditors, through every aspect of complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases across a broad spectrum of industries, including health care, retail, restaurant, and technology, in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Andres leverages valuable insights gained from his extensive experience representing other stakeholders in bankruptcy cases, including debtors, lenders, equity holders, and purchasers of distressed assets, to advocate on behalf of creditor interests.

Andres clerked for Chief Judge Martin Glenn in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. While in law school, Andres served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ann. M. Donnelly in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Representations include: AppHarvest, Inc. and its affiliated debtors in their chapter 11 cases; Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. in its out-of-court restructuring; Mattress Firm, Inc. and its affiliated debtors in their chapter 11 cases; and Presidio Investment Holdings LLC in its successful purchase of assets sold in bankruptcy.
