Alireza Abedin concentrates his practice in real estate transactional work, including the financing, acquisition, disposition and leasing of various types of commercial real estate assets. He brings a banking and finance focus to real estate matters, having specialized in lender-side work, and also has experience in borrower-side and equity-related matters.

Alireza represents private equity funds, life insurance companies, regional, national and international banks and investors in a variety of commercial real estate financing transactions, including the origination of commercial mortgage loans, loan workouts and the restructuring of existing loans.

Alireza’s representative deals include first lien, mezzanine, purchase money and syndicated financings for the acquisition, refinancing and construction of commercial real estate located across the country. Such transactions are secured by first lien mortgages, pledges of ownership interests in various forms of business entities, equipment, inventory, accounts, life insurance policies and securities.
