Recent Kelley Drye Lateral Additions Gain Media Attention

Media outlets have noticed the three recent lateral additions to the Kelley Drye team.

Blythe Lovinger joined the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group as a partner in the New York office. Blythe advises clients on day-to-day employment issues, including disciplinary actions and terminations; employment, consulting and separation agreements; employment policies and practices; reductions-in-force; wage and hour auditing; investigations of alleged harassment and other employee misconduct; Families First Coronavirus Response Act and other COVID-19 legislation; and litigation avoidance. Her practice also focuses on employment litigation before federal and state courts, administrative agencies and arbitration panels.

Laurie Rubiner joined the firm’s Government Relations and Public Policy practice group as senior government relations counsel. Laurie brings a wealth of legislative and policy experience to the group, having served in the Senate for over 15 years, most recently as Chief of Staff to Senator Richard Blumenthal (D). Outside her time in the Senate, she served in senior positions with several national policy organizations where she was able to implement successful strategies for improved public policies through bipartisan advocacy and coalition building.

Scott Doyle joined the firm’s Patent practice group as partner in our Washington, D.C. office. A prominent patent litigator, Scott focuses his practice on patent and intellectual property infringement actions, having successfully first-chaired numerous cases in federal district courts, before the United States Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and at the United States International Trade Commission. Scott has decades of experience handling litigation involving a broad range of technologies, including telecommunications, internet, computer hardware and software, automotive, chemical compositions, medical devices, semiconductor, and biotechnology.
