Partner Christie Thompson Elected to the Legal Aid Society Board of Trustees

Christie Thompson, partner and chair of the firm’s Advertising and Marketing and Consumer Product Safety practice groups, was elected to the Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. Christie joins an impressive roster of attorneys from major corporations and other top law firms.

Legal Aid was created in 1932 with the goal of making justice real – in individual and systemic ways – for persons living in poverty in the District of Columbia.  For more than 80 years, Legal Aid lawyers have provided a continuum of legal services to clients in the areas of domestic violence/family, housing, public benefits, and consumer law.
