Kelley Drye Represents Creditors’ Committee in Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp.’s Bankruptcy

On October 13, 2016, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP was selected as counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp (Garden Fresh). On October 3, 2016, Garden Fresh filed for bankruptcy protection in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The case is pending before the Honorable Christopher S. Sontchi.

Garden Fresh operates a chain of 123 self-service, fast-casual restaurants across 15 states under the Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes brands. Founded in 1978, the restaurants emphasize made-from-scratch options using fresh ingredients from farmer partners at a fixed price.
