Customs and International Trade Bar Association Young Lawyers Committee Panel Discussion

Senior Associate Brooke Ringel will moderate a panel of leading international trade lawyers and policymakers in a discussion, Understanding China 2016’,” sponsored by the Customs and International Trade Bar Association Young Lawyers Committee.  The panel will address China’s non-market economy status and the expiration of the NME provision in China’s Protocol of Accession to the WTO on December 11, 2016.  Specific topics will include the sources of competing legal interpretation, various policy perspectives, political and legislative developments in the U.S. and EU, possible paths forward for China, the U.S., and other WTO members, and potential practical and procedural effects in AD/CVD practice.
