Special Economic Zones (SEZs)

Deepak Nambiar co-chaired and spoke at the Atlas Legal conference, ​“Legal Tax and Financial Strategies for Structuring Investments in India – How to Maximize Profits & Minimize Risk.” The conference, held on April 14-15, 2008 at the Helmsley Hotel in New York, is geared towards those doing business in India or considering investing in India. Mr. Nambiar addressed special economic zones (SEZs), including how to set up an SEZ, benefits available, currently active SEZs and applications that are on hold, and the social and political issues relating to SEZs.
